Ms. E

Based in the Greater Vancouver Area, BC, Canada

I first started skiing over 20 years ago in my hometown of Toronto, Ontario. I immediately fell in love with the sport, and as I watched others experience the joy of learning, I felt inspired to share that feeling with my community through teaching. My love for people and physical movement naturally led me into the tourism industry, where I worked as a tour guide. Traveling, exploring new heights, and immersing myself in new environments sparked a dream of one day living close to the mountains.

During university, I studied Psychology as another way to encourage and support others. Every winter, as soon as the snow fell, I returned to my local ski hill at Earl Bales Community Centre to teach classes—not out of obligation, but because I genuinely love witnessing the confidence and happiness that comes from learning a new skill.

I now have over seven years of coaching experience, working with individuals of all backgrounds and ages—from toddlers as young as four to adults—both in group settings and one-on-one. I’ve gained extensive experience as an Instructor and On-Snow Supervisor, and later went on to create my own development program, where participants become certified coaches to assist with my programs.

These experiences have built the confidence and leadership skills that allowed me to move to a new province and establish a strong community in the Greater Vancouver Area. Mixed with getting my Masters in Counselling, I kept going toward my goal of delivering five-star instruction in ski concepts and technique. In 2023, I proudly launched three programs: Private Lessons, Winter and Spring Camps, and a Women’s Weekly program, all designed to reinforce motivational learning through supportive group dynamics.
